Making a Difference:
A Guide to Fundraising and Nonprofit Management
Often small is beautiful, and simple is best.
In Making a Difference, Mona and Olaf Engvig have created
a short, unpretentious guide to effectively managing a nonprofit
organization. Topics covered include raising funds for your organization,
conducting board developmen t
sessions, and learning how to design and carry out a marketing plan.
The book also describes how to write a powerful case statement and
a catchy press release and gives examples of these and other vehicles
used to fund and sustain your nonprofit organization. Making
a Difference is a great introduction to the nonprofit world
for new employees, board members, and volunteers, and, for seasoned
veterans, it is a valuable reference.
