ISOPH ANNOUNCES THREE NEW NONPROFIT ONLINE LEARNING CLIENTS
Innovative Projects Use Online Learning Technology
to Train Staff, Empower Advocates, and Educate Citizens
Chapel Hill, NC (May 14, 2003) - Isoph Corporation,
an innovative learning and collaboration technologies company focused
on mission-driven organizations, announces the addition of three
major nonprofit clients. “We are extremely pleased to be working
with the nation’s leading nonprofit organizations to use powerful
online technologies in their daily work,” notes Bill Tucker,
Isoph’s chief knowledge officer. Isoph’s new clients
include:
- National Wildlife Federation
The National Wildlife Federation (NWF), the nation's largest
member-supported conservation group, will use Isoph Blue to
power its new Endangered Species University. Endangered Species
University will be a program within Wildlife University, a multi-faceted
online learning program to advance environmental protection
by increasing awareness about endangered species issues, cultivating
and converting audiences into advocates for biological diversity,
and providing a model for other like-minded organizations to
recruit grassroots activists.
- Planned Parenthood Federation of America
Isoph is joining with Planned Parenthood Federation of America
(PPFA), the world's largest and most trusted voluntary reproductive
health care organization, to develop an online public affairs
training program. Working with Isoph, PPFA will develop two
online courses that provide the essential orientation information
and broad strategic overview critical for any public affairs
role. Using Isoph Blue technology, PPFA affiliate and national
staff will be able to access the training anytime, at their
convenience.
- The FrameWorks Institute
Launching this summer is the FrameWorks Institute E-Workshop,
an online workshop to familiarize children’s advocates
with the core principles of framing and their application to
communications planning and public speaking. Isoph is developing
the custom online course in conjunction with FrameWorks and
will be deploying the Isoph Blue learning management system
to administer the online learning program. Supported by the
nation’s leading foundations, the mission of the FrameWorks
Institute is to advance the nonprofit sector's communications
capacity by identifying, translating, and modeling relevant
scholarly research for framing the public discourse about social
problems.
