Isoph and Club Nova Thrift Shop Partner to Create New Web Site

Chapel Hill, NC (October 10, 2003) - Club Nova Thrift Shop and Isoph, a Carrboro-based online learning and technology company, launched the thrift shop’s new Web site on Friday. The Web site, a volunteer project led by Isoph’s employees, features a monthly calendar, volunteer applications, and information about how to donate to Club Nova Thrift Shop. Members of the community are encouraged to visit www.clubnovashop.com to check out the new site.

The Web site is one of several collaborative volunteer projects that Isoph and the Thrift Shop have pursued since March 2003. Isoph employees have volunteered at the thrift shop, worked on the Web site and hope to soon complete a project organizing and restoring donated computers. “The people at Isoph have been very generous with their time,” said Camellia Morton, Club Nova Thrift Shop coordinator. “This Web site, especially, is something we wouldn’t have done if not for their help.”

Isoph, which works with nonprofits and socially focused organizations, provides paid time-off and donated software for volunteer efforts by its employees as part of its own social mission. “Club Nova and Club Nova Thrift Shop seek to support persons with mental illness and educate the community,” said Jeff Cobb, Isoph’s CEO, “and we are excited to have contributed to the fulfillment of their mission.”
