ISOPH AND THE PETER F. DRUCKER FOUNDATION CREATE "MEETING
THE COLLABORATION CHALLENGE" ONLINE
Online Version of Popular Workshop
Investigates Nonprofit and For-profit Collaboration
Chapel Hill, NC (December 16, 2002)
- Isoph and the Peter F. Drucker Foundation announced today that
they partnered to create an online workshop titled "Meeting
the Collaboration Challenge." This workshop is currently a
successful classroom-based course offered by the Drucker Foundation.
Based on Harvard professor James Austins book The Collaboration
Challenge, the workshop develops and improves the way nonprofit
and for-profit organizations work together.
"The online version of this popular program will
allow us to reach more people who are looking to improve and expand
the nonprofit/for-profit relationship," said Rob Johnston,
Drucker Foundation president and CEO.
The online workshop, "Meeting the Collaboration
Challenge," will be presented using the synchronous collaboration
features and discussion board functionality of Isoph Blue, Isophs
integrated, Web-based environment. The Drucker Foundations
presenters will show PowerPoint slides, share Web pages, and lead
exercises entirely over the Web to groups of distributed learners.
Voice communication and instruction will take place via conference
call. Isoph and the Drucker Foundation have collaborated on the
Web adaptation of the existing classroom content.
"In addition to partnering with the Drucker Foundation
to create an online version of the workshop content, Isoph will
provide the learning management and online collaboration tools that
support and deliver the workshop," said Jeff Cobb, CEO of Isoph.
The first online "Meeting the Collaboration
Challenge" workshop will be available from the Peter F. Drucker
Foundation over the course of two days, January 23 and 28, 2003.
