N-TEN AND ISOPH PARTNER TO OFFER ONLINE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Isoph Provides More than 150 Discounted Online Courses for N-TEN Members

Chapel Hill, NC (June 24, 2003) - Isoph and N-TEN, two leading organizations in the field of nonprofit technology, have announced a partnership to offer online learning opportunities for N-TEN members. Launching on July 21, the new N-TEN online learning portal will feature discounted online courses providing a wide range of technology, management, and communications skills.

"The nonprofit technology community has consistently indicated that gaining better access to quality training is an essential need," said Ed Batista, executive director of N-TEN. "We're very excited about making Isoph's online courses available to our members, ensuring that our geographically dispersed international membership can reap the benefits of distance learning."

The new N-TEN learning portal is powered by Isoph Blue, Isoph’s integrated Web-based platform for developing and managing Web content, collaboration, and online learning. “Isoph Blue allows N-TEN to implement and manage multifaceted learning in an affordable, customizable online environment.” says Bill Tucker, Isoph’s chief knowledge officer. “We are excited to partner with the leading nonprofit technology membership association to increase access to learning opportunities.”

Linux, Web development and security, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and database administration are just a few of the technical course topics that will be available to N-TEN members. In addition, N-TEN members will also be able to access courses on QuickBooks, project management, supervision, negotiation, and communications skills. In the future, both partners hope to jointly develop new courses to fit the unique needs of N-TEN’s membership.
