ISOPH CHOOSES READYGO WEB COURSE BUILDER TO PROVIDE E-LEARNING
CONTENT FOR NONPROFITS
Leading Provider of Online Learning to Nonprofits
Selects Popular Web Course Builder for Course Content
Chapel Hill, NC (January 22, 2002) - Isoph Corporation,
a leading developer of learning applications for the nonprofit market,
announced today a reseller agreement with ReadyGo Inc., creator
of the easiest and fastest authoring tool for building e-learning
Web courses. Under the terms of the agreement, Isoph will market
the tool to its nonprofit clients who need to create high-quality
online courses for educating staff, volunteers, clients, and members.
Courses will be hosted within Isoph's learning community system
for nonprofits.
"We want to provide organizations with a range
of e-learning services to support them in building capacity and
more effectively pursuing their missions. The relationship with
ReadyGo means we can now offer an easy-to-use, cost-effective content
authoring tool," said Jeff Cobb, president of Isoph. "The
ReadyGo Web Course Builder is highly intuitive, and it allows the
experts within organizations to create courses without having to
master complex programming." Courseware developed with the
ReadyGo WCB interacts easily with Isoph's AICC and SCORM compliant
learning community system, making it possible for clients to easily
track learners' test scores and other learning data.
"We're delighted that a leader in the nonprofit
e-learning market is working with us," said Anita Rosen, CEO
of ReadyGo, Inc. "Together, ReadyGo and Isoph put powerful
tools at the disposal of nonprofit organizations at a price they
can afford."
ReadyGo Web Course Builder
ReadyGo WCB is an easy-to-use and inexpensive Web
authoring tool for creating e-learning courses. A professional training
company typically charges $25,000 to $150,000 to produce a course.
ReadyGo reduces those costs to $495 to $5,000, depending on the
graphics required. ReadyGo WCB eliminates the complexity and staffing
requirements previously associated with e-learning sites and courses.
A single subject matter expert can now create a course that once
required a staff of 10 or more programmers, pedagogy experts, and
others, reducing design time by 80 to 90 percent. The pedagogy is
built into ReadyGo WCB and what the author enters as text is automatically
translated into HTML output appropriate for intranet or Internet
sites.
