BREAKTHROUGH LAUNCHES TECHUB.ORG COMMUNITY ON ISOPH BLUE

Site Will Strengthen International Network of Clubhouses that Support Mental Health

Carrboro, NC (July 12, 2005) - Isoph, e-learning success partner to membership organizations and nonprofits, today announced that Wichita, Kansas-based Breakthrough, has launched an international community site using the Isoph Blue learning community system. Breakthrough is one of more than 420 clubhouses throughout the world dedicated to supporting people with mental illness in rebuilding their lives. The TECHub site at http://www.techub.org will serve as a place where Clubhouse colleagues and staff from several countries can connect with each other, share experiences, and take advantage of training and education opportunities.

makes great sense." Some tools that will enhance communication and improve the strength of the Clubhouse network include:

• Discussion boards to share ideas and opportunities
• A chat room to mentor and to better engage young people with a mental illness
• Data gathering through online surveys and feeding results back to Clubhouse community in short periods of time
• Ability to download information to be used during the work order day (e.g., surveys, databases, charts, PowerPoint presentations, sharing potential national employer contacts)
• E-mail lists for people who are interested in specific subject areas (funding opportunities, Clubhouse management information, leadership, board development, employee benefits/human resources)
• Regional links to helpful sites around the issues of mental illness and the issues of building strong Clubhouse organizations
