At Isoph, we take your privacy seriously. You have
the right to know what sort of information may be gathered when
you visit www.isoph.com and how it is used, which is the purpose
of this privacy policy. The following subjects are addressed in
this policy:
How We Collect Information
We do not sell or otherwise make available to outside
parties the information collected at www.isoph.com.
Using online forms, we collect information at different
places on our Web site--for example, when you purchase a course
via our secure e-commerce function, when you sign up for our newsletter,
when you choose to use certain site features (such as our discussion
boards), or when you choose to help our research efforts by responding
to a survey.
You are in no way required to engage in these activities,
but, if you choose to, we may ask you to provide personal information,
such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, employer, job
title, telephone number, etc. When ordering products or services
from the site, you may be asked to provide a credit card number.
Some of the information that we request is identified as mandatory,
and some is voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data
for a particular activity or service, you will not be able to engage
in that activity or use that service.
Please note that accessing the bulk of the Isoph Web
site does not require you to provide any personal information.
Online Purchases
Orders placed using our secure e-commerce transaction
may require your name, e-mail address, shipping address, credit
card billing address, card number, and expiration date. Credit card
numbers are used only for payment processing and are not retained
for other purposes. This information is kept private and confidential,
is not made available to or sold to outside parties, is stored on
secure servers, and is used only for processing your orders and
statistical purposes. If we have trouble processing an order, the
contact information you provided is used to get in touch with you.
Isoph protects the information with which you provide
us. When you submit sensitive information via the Web site, your
information is protected both online and offline. For more information
about security at www.isoph.com, please refer to our online security
policy.
Registration
In order to access some of the features of our Web
site (e.g., the course demos at the Isoph Institute), you must complete
a registration form, which requires you to provide your contact
information (like name and e-mail address). This information is
used to contact you about the services on our site for which you
have expressed interest. You may also be asked to provide demographic
information (such as job title) so we can provide a more personalized
experience on our site. You may receive e-mail to verify your password
and user name, if necessary to use a site feature, and e-mail to
notify you of new products, services, and special deals. Out of
respect for the privacy of our users, we present the option to not
receive such communication.
Please beware that any information you post to a discussion
board is available to all users who access the site.
Surveys
Isoph occasionally sponsors surveys that yield data
useful to the field of nonprofit e-learning. Participation in these
surveys is completely voluntary. If you choose to participate, you
may be asked to provide demographic information (age, size of organization,
and job title) and contact information (name and address). Survey
information will be used for purposes of monitoring and improving
use of www.isoph.com, refining existing Isoph products and services,
developing new products and services, and making valuable data available
to you and other users. Contact information may be used to notify
participants when survey results are available or to inform them
if they won a prize used as an incentive to encourage participation
in the survey.
Newsletter
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we require
certain contact information (name and e-mail address) so we can
make sure you receive the newsletter as requested. We may also ask
for additional information (age, job title, and size of company)
so we can better understand our audience and tailor the newsletter's
focus and content to fit your needs. Users who no longer wish to
receive our newsletter may opt-out of receiving these communications.
Log Files
We use Internet protocol (IP) addresses to analyze
trends, administer the site, track users' movement, and gather broad
demographic information for aggregate use. These IP addresses are
not linked to personally identifiable information and in no way
can be used to distinguish you as a specific, individual user.
Cookies
When you access a Web site, a cookie (a small
amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web server)
may be used. Cookies cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.
Information stored in a cookie can improve your experience on a
Web site by instructing the server to prepare content to suit your
needs and interests. For example, a cookie can tell a Web server
whether you've visited the site before and whether you've specified
any preferences.
While Isoph may use cookies to track your visit to
www.isoph.com, the information collected via cookies does not identify
you personally, and you remain anonymous unless you have elsewhere
provided Isoph with personal information.
The Isoph Institute uses cookies to track your progress
when you take a course. If you usually have cookies turned off,
you simply need to change your browser option (to accept cookies).
See your browser help for information on setting cookie options.
Sharing
We may share aggregated demographic information with
our partners. This information is not linked to any personal information
that can identify any individual person.
We may use an outside shipping company to ship orders
and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and
services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally
identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
For the convenience of Isoph users and to allow access
to all services with a single user name, we may pass log-in information
to our partners who provide certain integrated services, such as
Web conferencing. Our partners do not share the information with
any other third parties.
Links
As a convenience, Isoph provides links to other sites
that we feel may be of use and interest to our users. Isoph is not
responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites. We recommend
you read the privacy statements of any Web site that collects personally
identifiable information. This privacy statement published here
applies solely to information collected at www.isoph.com.
Correcting and Updating Personal Information
If your personal information changes (such as your
e-mail address) or if you no longer wish to use a particular service,
please contact info@isoph.com
to correct, update, or remove the personal data you provided to
us.
Notification of Changes
If we change our privacy policy, the new policy will
be immediately posted at www.isoph.com. But information collected
from www.isoph.com will always be governed by the privacy policy
under which it was collected regardless of whether we update or
alter that policy at a later time, unless we obtain your express
permission to apply the new policy to your information.

privacy policy to info@isoph.com.
